Standard Commercial Security Systems

Commercial security is non-negotiable. By deciding to leave your business insecure, you have practically signed your resignation form. Don’t believe me? Imagine this: a very well known businessman has watched his business flourish over the year. Clients are plentiful, competitors struggle to keep up and doubters have been silenced. That is until someone realises he doesn’t even use a password – anyone can (and eventually does) get into his computer and steals all his files.

Leaving your business without proper security is very much like refusing to be a password and being surprised when things go wrong. Don’t be alarmed, there still is time to save your business through use of security systems.

The ChubbWatch Standard Commercial Security System is one of the best options available as far as standard security packages go. This security system is your businesses guard dog – except it never sleeps. By operating 24 hours, 7 days a week, you can be assured your assets, and even more importantly – your information, is protected. Features include:

  • Alarm Panel
  • LED Keypad
  • 2 Flush Mount Piezo internal sirens
  • Chubb Delta external siren
  • 2 PIR sensors
  • 2 Door contact reed switches
  • Backup battery
  • 4 Warning Stickers
  • Installation and Labour

National Business Review Website Usability

The National Business Review’s website is a hub of news and sources relating to New Zealand’s business environment. To make the website more usable for a wider demographic, the site offers a Chinese section with articles typed in Chinese alongside a Chinese stock market table. Although this is great for Chinese users, it does little for users of other denominations.

The site uses two tab bars – the larger blue one and the dark grey one. The dark grey tab bar looks like it’s supposed to be sub headings of the main tab bar. However it is not. This makes it confusing and difficult to naviagte.

The Roger Ramsey Building website exists to promote these Waikato renovations experts services. So the sites ability to promote these services will be kept in mind when judging it’s usability.

Information is displayed in a clear and accessible way. This is evident through the homepage text. Instead of large blocks of text, it is broken up into short sentences, bulletpoints, different fonts and a photo is used to break it up further.

While the bulletpoints on the homepage illustrate services offered, it’s difficult to find these services explained anywhere else on the site. Additional pages or galleries with this information may make the site more user friendly if the user is after this information.

The site doesn’t have any e-commerce capabilities – and so it shouldn’t. Sites for renovations can’t have e-stores due to them offering unique services with differing prices.
